[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]On your initial visit which is approximately 45 minutes in duration, one of our experienced Osteopaths will discuss and record your detailed medical history, and examine any relevant/recent medical scans or reports you have provided.
During your examination and treatment, your Osteopath will ask you to remove some of your outer clothing, and a you will be offered a gown. Please ensure you wear underwear, shorts or a sports bra you feel comfortable in.
The Osteopath will then, taking into consideration your case history, apply a highly developed sense of touch to identify points of weakness or excessive strain throughout the body. Further investigations by your Osteopath may sometimes be required, including x-rays, scans or other assessments that we may feel are necessary to identify the cause of your complaint/s. This will allow a full diagnosis of the problem, and enable the Osteopath to tailor a treatment plan specifically to your needs.
Your Osteopath will make you feel at ease advising you what is happening throughout your consultation. You are welcome to ask questions if you have any concerns. Osteopathy can help most people, and our practitioners work closely hand in hand with others to always achieve the optimal results. If further medical treatment is needed, the Osteopath may contact your doctor, with your permission.
Upon completion of your initial treatment, you are advised the best recommendation by your Osteopath moving forward, and required to book your second appointment whereby you will be given your customised Recommended Treatment Plan.
All future appointments in your program are then block booked, so that you are assured of getting your treatments when you need it. The frequency of appointments in your customised treatment program is also very important.
Please make sure when booking you will not need to reschedule as doing so will upset your program.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances you do need to reschedule, please advise us within at least 24 hours or a Cancellation Fee may apply.[/vc_column_text][medic_alert colored=”colored” type=”info” text=”If your child is aged under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult whilst receiving treatment.”][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”What You Will Need”][vc_column_text]
